FOUND AN EARRING in my house

So today I was cleaning up and I found an earring that I never seen before in my carpet. Its a gold stud earring. I dont even wear gold.... my boyfriend is at work.. how should I handle it ? Im really pissed lole wanna kick him out straight up right now. Smh
