My husband has a very demanding job. We aren't stressing TTC but I worried bc he's has a lot of stress at work. We are both 33 years old and 7 months TTC. He's such a sport and suggested getting testing. He knows not to stress at work but it's kind of impossible.

Yes. We both got fully checked out and did genetic testing before we even started trying. I encourage you to do the same. If there is an issue why waste a year and stress over it when there are other avenues?

My husband is actually going next week... I am 33 and he is 38. We have only been trying about 4ish months, but he was open to it so thought why not!

Start the testing sooner than later. The process can take a while. Besides it's nice to know if there are any issues. Then you can decide what path is best for the 2 of you. Good luck!

We did around 8 months. You can do it if you ask for it but if you're under 35 insurance may not cover it

My husband got tested at 8 months as I am 35 and he is 40. There is no harm in testing early as it's good to know alls ok or if not where to go next x

We've been ttc for 1year and my husband just got tested. I'm 32 and he's 31. We are waiting to get the results, they said it could take up to 10days (currently Day 9 but whose counting 😉). We have been following my OBs suggestion on what steps to do next. I would just set up an appointment and see what they recommend.

Thanks ladies! I thought I was being impatient but know feel better about our decision.

We tried 10 months before I mentioned it to my OB. The first DR told me I was being impatient, and if I stopped thinking about it, it would happen. We got a second opinion and they ran a few tests. We ended up discovering that my husband has a rare genetic condition and has zero sperm. We are doing our first round of IUI with donor sperm this cycle. I was glad we got a second opinion. :) I am 35 and he is 36.

We got my hubby tested on the 7th month, as well as see a FS to have initial chats. Didn't want to spend additional time trying if there was a problem.
