Temp 99.3 - Does that mean pregnant?

So I just got a thermometer to take my temp... it's not a basal thermometer, but I figured it would still work. However I took my temp today (4 days before cycle) and it's 99.3. Typically my temp is 98.4-98.6 (you know when you take it and you don't have a fever). I don't have anything to compare it to and even though I read up online that after ovulation temp is a bit higher til it drops right before your period, its higher than it is supposed to be in that case.  Also I read an early sign of pregnancy is a higher temp, but i couldn't find anything on how high... so now I'm super confused. Am I pregnant or not? I don't want to buy a pregnancy test yet bc I haven't even missed my darn period!
