My mom keeps tell me no ! But I think you do I'm 7weeks postpartum and I haven't gotten my period yet .

I got my period while breastfeeding was so disappointed cuz everyone says you dont. I breastfed my oldest for 14 months and my twins for 8 months and had my period like clockwork while breastfeeding them.

If you're exclusively breastfeeding you can usually keep your period away for a while. I got mine back when my little guy was 9 months. My mom got my hopes up by saying she didn't get hers until 15 months, but I was at least grateful for the 9 months lol

Every woman is different - I'm almost 7 months postpartum and still no period. Some women get theirs as soon as their postpartum bleeding stops.

I'm pretty sure it's rare... not impossible. Once you stop breastfeeding your normal period will come on.
