When to go register at the hospital

Question

I was told to make am appointment and register and get a tour of the hospital but I'm not sure when to do this... FTM... When did you do it?

Also comment on if you took any classes on breast feeding and if it was worth it.

I was told to do it between 28-30 weeks as it takes them 4-6 weeks to process registrations and insurance information.  If you are admitted earlier it could be complicated insurance wise if you register too late.
 
But then I have heard of people not pretegistering at all so...

I think we pre-registered and toured some time during the end of the  second trimester when I was feeling my best because I was worried I'd be uncomfortable during the third trimester. I wasn't but better safe than sorry kind of deal. And I'm glad I attended the breastfeeding class because it gave me a chance to know the hospital's lactation consultant and the information really made me want to try my best with breastfeeding.

I pre-registered at 31 weeks. Took a breastfeeding class yesterday and it was worth it. Granted, I knew a lot of the information already just from research, but we met the hospital's lacatation consultants and got to ask questions. We tour the hospital tonight! I'm 34 weeks.

I did mine all at once, your and registration. So I needed to do was walk in and have my baby .

Not sure if makes a difference but I'm being monitored for preclampsy (BP is weird for the past two weeks)
