"oh good you get one of each"

Krystal
Is anyone else bothered by this when you tell people you're pregnant with the opposite gender of your oldest? I have a boy and am pregnant with a girl. Every time I tell people they seem almost relieved that I'm having a girl, like another boy would have been horrible? I don't know, it irks me so much. I ran into an elderly lady that was probably at least 80 when I was food shopping and she was talking about my son and how she has 4 boys and loved it. I agreed and said I loved having a boy, and am pregnant now with a girl and am pretty scared. Me and her laughed about it and that was it, but it was refreshing to not hear someone say that to me I guess. Maybe it's silly of me to be bothered but I feel like any baby should be celebrated no matter the gender. I couldn't imagine if I was pregnant with a boy and the comments I'd get .
