let's talk baby names ...

The people who always known what they'd name their baby and people who don't have a idea what to name their baby ! But I wanna know did you ever have to make a list of names and pick three or did you just go with the name everyone suggested do you now or have you ever regretted telling people your baby's name ? If so why ? And mostly are you satisfied with your choice ? I know a lot of moms who says "oh I wish he was a john rather than James but my mil persuaded me towards James" also did you pick out the name you liked or was it just to please others ?
