Restaurant behavior
When going out to eat, ranging from a fancy restaurant to a fast food restaurant, do you tidy up the area when finished?
I host at a diner (cashing people out, taking togo orders, seating people, etc) and as I was cashing out regular group who've been coming for years and one of the ladies was sort of tidying up the mess their baby made
So, the woman in front of me begins yelling "Why the fuck are you cleaning up? That's their fucking job (pointing to the bussers) they are supposed to clean up this shit. Not you. That's what those buckets are for, get over here and stop fucking embarrassing me. Cleaning up shit they are supposed to fucking do, my fucking god fucking embarrassing."
I have an extremely short temper and was shaking by this point. We were extremely busy and the bussers work their asses off and rarely get a break unless it's a bit slow.
It took so much not to say anything because I was so damn ready to shut her the fuck up.
So what's everyone's view on "tidying" up after eating?
After working in the food industry for a few years I've never heard anyone speak like that and it was just so irritating hearing that come from anyone, especially because she's been going for years!
