fetal heart monitor?

Question

Do any of you guys have one? If so, what one do you recommend? I just figured since I have had a miscarriage before, it would put my mind at ease if I could use it from time to time with this pregnancy.

I have the sonoline B version and got it off Amazon. I sencond the poster who said get aloe Vera it works just the same or you can even use hand sanitizer if in a pinch. I found my  son at 10w but needed to search for a bit. It gets easier once they are bigger until they get super active then you have to chase them. I have to chase my son around now and I'm 18w5 days. He is my rainbow and this has helped. I feel him all the time now so we don't listen as often.

- You can use aloe vera gel instead of having to special order doppler gel. 
- Put a washcloth under your pants and then flip it up over your pants so you don't get gel on your pants. 
- Watch some YouTube videos on how to find it. 
- Sometimes it is difficult to find the heartbeat, don't stress. When you start to get stressed stop and try again later.

I ordered mine off of Amazon. Have a sonoline b model. Was able to pick up heartbeat at 9.5 weeks. Baby is super low, behind pubic bone so it requires a lot of pressure on the probe. Not everyone can find early. I went with this model because I wanted to be able to see the beats per minute (it can be tricky at first to tell difference between own heart, artery down belly and baby) and because with a probe I felt like I could push down more than I could with something like angelsounds. 
This is my rainbow pregnancy so I, like you, got mine to help calm my worried mind after a mc. Make sure if you get one and try to find it you watch videos and stuff before searching. Also, be patient. Not finding it right away doesn't mean the worst. So make sure this won't add to your fear. It took me over an hour of looking the first day to find it. But now that I know where baby is, it's a little easier. Although where I'm full or constipated or need to pee all make it easier or harder, the heart beat sound stronger or fainter.
