You peed to much on it. Just pee in a cup and get a new test and dip it for 5 seconds. Then lay it straight down

On the side it says that the one side is supposed to be empty by the looks of it, just look to see if that is a negative or a positive. It shows right on the stick what each one means

The control line is the line on the right that's there. You're talking about the tinnnnny little edge at the bottom that isn't fully dark? That's normal. Sometimes they're spots out of it, lighter, uneven whatever. The main part of the test is the second line in that left circle. No line, not pregnant, two lines (control and other) pregnant. They don't have to be perfect lines just both have to have color, and be there in the allotted amount of time. Hope that helps!
