So my childs father (im 5 months pregnant) assaulted me, i cut all ties with him and his family.  His family is mad because i dont want to include them in my pregnancy, is it wrong that I dont.? What is ur advice? To include them even though me and the dad arent together or just include them?

If they did nothing to you I don't see why they can't be included. But at this point what is there to include? There's nothing they can do to help other than offer to buy the baby things.

Cut them all out. Go to court and get an order of protection and keep up with it so he doesn't have a leg to stand on if he goes for custody or visitation later. Even if you think he won't, I know from personal experience he can be influenced by his family to do so.

If they were nice and supportive I'd include them. I have a friend, her daughter is 8 I think. She has no contact with her "sperm donor", but she does keep in contact with his mom and sees her on occasion (they live in different states). She knows her son is a deadbeat but she still wanted to be apart of her granddaughters' life.
