running when pregnant??

Hi 
Did anyone continue with running when they were pregnant? I have been training for a half marathon which is in 2 weeks. I am now 5 weeks pregnant

My doctor told me it's completely okay to keep doing whatever your body is used to & I don't need to make modifications either, unless later on it's uncomfortable for me. Listen to your body 💕I'm in my second trimester and  running just the same as always & ive felt great my whole pregnancy so felt no need to cut back !

I ran 3 miles a day and walked another two when I was pregnant with my oldest during the entire pregnancy. If you were active before you can continue to be active

You're fine to keep running! My best friend ran/walked a mini when she was 5 months pregnant. Just listen to your body. My Dr said this early in the pregnancy that it's okay to continue any exercise you had previously done, but now is not the time to try new workout routines.

Used to run 10 km 5 times a week and in my third trimester, after gradually reducing speed I am down to 8.5 km, same 60 minutes and 5 times a week though. It's the best feeling in the world when I finish and I never thought of quitting... baby's doing super well and the two supporting books I bought are very helping to keep it up. The only hing is you need to wear some type of body compressor a simple swimming suit that will keep the belly from extra vibrations and your ligaments from extra stretching. And, as you probably know, listen to your body!
