What was dating like in the early 2000's?

2) how often did you guys see each other? 
3) what was a typical date?
4) how old were you both? 
5) did he ask your parents for permission to to date you?

Answer

MSN messenger or calling each other's home phones. Which was VERY awkward 😅 cell phones are a godsend for this reason. 
In the early 2000's most the people I dated were at school, so I'd typically see them 5 days a week. If they drove, I'd see them maybe twice a week outside of school; if they didn't drive, maybe once a week or every other week. 
Going to the movies or going over to each others' houses. 
I started dating in 2004, and I was 14. All of my boyfriends were older. I dated a few people who were 1-2 years older than me, and one guy that was 3.5 years older. 
No, no one ever asked for permission to date me. 
I met most of my boyfriends at school, and a few I met through mutual friends :)
