Skip the crib ?

So we were discussing legistics of baby stuff we absolutely need and I was truly thinking about not even getting crib. Both my  boys were ebf and co-slept until at least 10 months when we transitioned into a crib. They were both in toddler beds by 13 months so I'm thinking of skipping the crib when we go to sleep train we'll use the pack n play until she is ready for a toddler bed. Is this crazy or have any other moms gone without?!

That's why we are getting the 4 in 1 crib. 😊 we will of course be using the crib but you can change it to other beds as needed.

I loved my crib! My son was in it at one month and I didn't take him out until he was three! But to each their own, if you are only using it for three months, I wouldn't get one either.

I skipped a crib and just have a full size mattress on the floor.

I am slowly transitioning from bassinette to crib. We transitioned from cosleeping then to bassinette at 2 months then we just had our first successful night sleep last night. He's 4&1/2 months old.

We weren't sure what to expect so we put a crib and pack n play on the registery and got both! Pack and play is in our room while the crib is in the nursery. We shall play it by ear but no in our bed co sleeping.

I wished I would have skipped it this time but I was dead set on not cosleeping. Last time we coslept until she was 3.5, my hubby felt safer to have her close and she would NOT sleep in her bed. So the crib was a waste. This time I didn't want to do it because I like my bed to myself (I don't really like sleeping with my husband even) so we got his crib. I got a pack n play for him to use while in our room but he has reflux really bad and cannot lay flat so we now use a rock n play. Best. Thing. Ever. Now that he is on meds for the reflux we have mastered nursing laying down. That lead into cosleeping 😳😞. Momma has to do what momma has to do to get some sleep. Made it 12 weeks PP before I caved on my decision. I guess we wated our money again. At least it becomes a toddler bed so it still may get some use.

We had a crib and my son never used it as we bedshare. He's 15months. We are trying to practice montessori and so I took down his crib a few months ago and just left his bed skirt and set his mattress on top. He LOVES that he can go sit on his bed whenever he wants without any help. He also loves grabbing a few toys and laying on his bed to play.

I'm using a pack n play. I had one with my first. He hated his crib and slept in it till he could climb out of it.

I have two kids and have never used a crib. 38 weeks with number 3 and still haven't bought one.
