Bloody Discharge 9 weeks along?

Question

So I have already contacted my doctor's office and am waiting for a response. But I realized today that I had some bloody discharge. Has anyone else had this happen in first trimester and does it inevitably mean miscarriage? And if not what has it turned out to be?
 I may be overreacting but I'm just nervous seeing as it's still so early.

I had some at 6w 4d, which started out brown and went to very heavy bright red bleeding with small clots. Went on for 2 weeks. And at 10w, I started bleeding again and passed a massive clot. All because of a sub chorionic hematoma (blood clot on the uterine wall)! Everything is fine now at 13 weeks 😊 spotting is totally normal, if it turns into red bleeding go to the ER or your doctor.

What color was the bloody discharge? 
I had this happen and it was red/pink and I ended up having a chemical. I also had brown discharge at 9 weeks this pregnancy and altho I know brown is the better ones to have I still worried and everything themed out fine and I'm 38 weeks pregnant now
