How do I increase milk supply?

I breastfeed, pump and formula feed because I don't have 3oz of milk every 2 hours as my 12 days old demands...how do I do to increase my milk supply and try to give him less and less formula without to starve my baby?? Thank you!

Nurse or pump, pump, and pump some more. Besides staying hydrated and having a nutrient rich diet...pumping and nursing often are literally the only proven way to increase your milk supply.

12 days old? Nurse, don't pump! Only pump after you're done nursing to get extra.

Keep that baby latched on you. Baby unlatches and then you burp and offer other side. Repeat. Then If you want to pump, pump...but I can't pump much at all. Been nursing for 19 weeks. What you pump doesn't necessarily mean that all you can supply.

Pump after every feeding, drink lots of water, make sure to keep taking a prenatal vitamin. There are recipes for lactation cookies & shake you can try. I just got a fenugreek & blessed thistle powder from target that feels like it's slowly starting to help my supply. I've also heard old fashioned oatmeal helps.

Drink tons of water. You need liquid to make liquid. Avoid everything with sage, parsley, and peppermint. All three decrease milk supply. Fenugreek, fennel, oatmeal, and brewers yeast are all foods that boost supply. You can also buy some lactation teas and drink a couple cups a day. I always liked making lactation cooking with the brewers yeast, oatmeal, and crushed fennel seed. Then having a cookie or two with a cup of tea. It really boosted my supply and was fast acting.
