Too chubby for a bikini? weird body shape & scars PLEASE HELP

I'm going to Florida next week and I need to buy a new swim suit. Ladies please be honest, am I too chubby for a bikini. I have an invertical trigangle body which means bigger upper body and smaller lower body.  My stomach is chubby and my boyfriend tells me I'm chubby all the time. I'm around 200lbs. Size 7/small jeans, size large/XL shirt. I'm a 36D-36DD  Please recommend any swim suits you think would suit my body. I have bright purple scars from a skin disorder on my lower belly, inner thighs, and under arms. I'm very insecure about them and I'd like to cover up those regions in case of any flare ups on my vacation

I think you should wear those full swimsuits with the little skirt at the bottom, or the dress type of swimsuit. It would suit your body shape better than a bikini.

If you feel uncomfortable wear a full piece but honestly fuck what anyone else thinks! You are beautiful! When I go to the beach I don't go there to judge someone, and if someone is judging you, well who cares! You're never going to see them again in your life :)

I don't think you're chubby at all. If you're concerned about the scars you mentioned you could get something like these - they cover that area but still flattering to your body and aren't big and frumpy looking like the skirt bikinis.

who cares what anyone thinks? if you like yourself in a bikini then wear a bikini! you would look so good!

My mom has the same she would rock some of those tank top bikinis with just normal bikini bottoms. You can always throw shorts over top and wear that before you swim. But what ever makes you comfortable. Personally I think no one should be shamed of their body. All you need to do to have a bikini body is put one on.

I think you're fine to wear a bikini you're not chubby atall in my opinion but if you don't feel comfortable there are lots of one piece bathing suits that are really nice also if you don't want a one piece. What about a tankini? You know like the kinda vest top with the bikini bottoms. I always go for one pieces with stomach control. They used to be really ugly an old fashioned looking but there's lots of lovely different ones. Like u said I think you're fine to wear a bikini but just wear whatever makes you feel good x

I'm horrible when it comes to recommendations and swimsuits.. I don't know what'll help cover the scars. Though, I don't think you're too chubby for a bikini. If you can wear it without feeling super insecure- Go for it!
