any nursing mamas having troubles with a busy baby?

My lo will nurse for 5 min before he's too busy to want to sit any longer. I know it's normal for them to be curious and moving at 8 mo, but I've been nervous he's not getting enough milk ☹️ I try to sit in the nursery with little distractions, but it doesn't help a whole lot

Yep. I'm pretty positive that's why he still wakes at night..in order to make up those calories.

Mine has become a gymnist while nursing lately! Trying to stand, balance on one foot... all while staying latched 😭 it's so annoying!!

I seriously have been dealing with the same thing.  And he doesn't ever want to go to bed to late lately. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one! Oh and he's teething so he will bite me, my gosh those things are sharp.

Yup! I think my daughter is just so interested in trying to crawl and getting moving that she doesn't nurse well during the day. Sadly that means she nurses more often at night, but I'm pretty sure it's just a phase. The 4-6 month distraction phase was the same.

I'm having trouble too so I just feed him before every nap (still naps 3 times a day) and at bedtime, and he still wants to nurse every 3-4 hours at night. My issue is that I actually want to get away from nursing to sleep but I don't know how much milk he would be getting if I didn't nurse him to sleep!

I nurse in the morning and at night only then pump twice during the day. She has given me such a hard time at night!  Morning is no issue because I think she's hungry but bedtime has been brutal the past week or so! Completely refusing and purposely looking away! She will eventually latch and settle, but it's a battle every night. I'm thinking about cutting back if she's not interested- it's not worth it!
