tonsil stones?

Has anyone dealt with these? Any home remedies to make them come out easier/prevent getting them? I'm "coughing" up atleast 7/day. My tonsils are really swollen and inflamed, not to mention scarred.. will they take your tonsils out due to this?

Use a water pik for several months. I quit having stones after that. Really recommend it.

My sister pops those stones out of her tonsils it's the nastiest thing I've ever seen but you can put your finger back there and pop the stones out of the sockets she uses her phone flash light so she can see btw good luck I got mine removed it's not that bad I was 23

I had mine out at 20years old. The tonsil build up (stones) were one of the issues on top of constant strep throats and tonsillitis

That surgery for an adult isn't to be taken lightly. They say after you'll be on a liquid diet. Let's just say if that diet has to go past your throats you won't eat for a few days.  My partner had it. I kept giving him ice then he could eat after I numbed him up with ice and Percocet. But nothing solid. I made smoothies and gave him Italian ice.  He went from 220 to 189 in 2 weeks.

I had my tonsils taken out at 20 too like another poster on here. I have to admit it was the best decision ever BUT it was the most painful surgery I have ever had! I have had my wisdom teeth out and both ankles drilled and worked on and the tonsil removal hurt more than any of those! The older you get the more it hurts so if you want them out, definitely speak up and get it taken care of sooner rather than later!

I pick at em with stuff. I don't suggest it. You can make yourself bleed. It sucks!

I gargle with peroxide and salt water.  You have to  physically remove them,  But this helps.

The only way to get rid of them for good is to get your tonsils removed.
