Someone Please Explain!!

I'm pregnant with a boy, 25 weeks along (25 tomorrow technically). I saw a post on here from a women who did not want to circumcise her son, but her husband did. She listed off a lot of things I didn't know about it! (And they still don't make sense). Can someone explain to me the process of circumcising and the healing process after? Also the pros and cons of it? I tried googling it but a lot of what I was reading didn't make sense! My fiancé and I haven't talked about it at all, I never thought about it until I saw her post! I just thought it was normal to circumcise? Please help!
