It's my engagement party on Saturday, I'm 16 weeks pregnant I was thinking maybe having one glass of wine or possibly half a glass but I'm really in two minds about it! Only because it's my own engagement party but really don't know what to think of it!

Find some great mocktail recipes instead or if you're having it out, ask the bartender for a nice fruity mocktail :)

Get some sparkling cider, serve it in a champagne glass. You'll feel like you are drinking but you won't risk anything.

There's no reason why you need alcohol to celebrate. It's not worth the risk and the fact that you are asking means you really don't think it's a great idea. If you thought it was fine you'd just go ahead and drink while pregnant.

Maybe a sip or two as a toast but I wouldn't personally. I had very small sips here and there but aftet studying fetal alcohol syndrome in school it made me very paranoid. But talk to your doctor about it.

A glass of wine isn't going to hurt you or the baby.. just don't get smashed lol my doctor and I talked about alcohol during pregnancy and he said you shouldn't have any in the first trimester but a glass here or there is OK 😊 congratulations on the engagement and pregnancy too btw!
