Spotting at 34 weeks

I've just had some spotting. I'm 34 weeks and when I say some I mean the smallest tiniest bit when I wiped, when I wiped again there was nothing. It was bright red. Baby is moving about a lot but just wondering if anyone has any experience with this or if it's a labour sign. I don't feel it was enough to call midwifes.
