Travelling with a baby?

Question

My fiancé is always saying let's go for vacation in Dubai or travel around Europe this summer etc etc. (Baby due end of May) And I am telling him like #1 I need to recover from having a baby...and #2 I don't think it's a good idea to bring the baby around travelling like that when he is so small. But I think my fiancé is just really unrealistic and has no idea what a baby entails lol. What do you think? How soon is it ok for the baby to travel? How long is it best to keep baby in one place?....any experiences or advice would be appreciated as I am really not sure abt what kind of effect it would have on a baby or at what age it is ok.

For their immune system I definitely wouldn't travel internationally until they were older. And you have no idea what kind of shape you'll be in after baby is born and if you'll be able to handle it. We didn't plan anything for the summer after my first was born, which was good cus I did not recover well and had a really hard time.

I would be more careful of baby's immune system and whether planes or overseas would be a good place for them as they may not have had all their immunisations 😊

I am all for travelling with a baby. We did our first trip when my first was only a month and a half old. However, it was not international and we drove. I would wait for travelling by plane or internationally until after immunizations.

Definitely travel when the baby is little. It's so much easier than when They're two, or if you have another one! Take advantage of their little size and lack of need for entertainment!
