Can Lyme Disease Be Sexually Transmitted?

Hello! I've recently been diagnosed with Lyme Disease and Babesia. I have lots of questions and very little answers. If anyone has any knowledge on the subject I'd love to hear it!

The cdc says there is no evidence that it's sexually transmitted but they have never done a study on it so of course there's no evidence. There however is a study that found the bacteria in sperm and vaginal fluid. I can tell you personally it is possible. My husband tested negative when we were using condoms until we wanted to have a baby. When we had unprotected sex he tested positive. There's many other stories of partners passing it to eachother.

There is currently no evidence that Lyme disease can be transmitted sexually, since it's a bacterial infection in the blood. What are your symptoms? I'm curious.. I was never diagnosed because I only had one band present at the time of my blood test.
