high cholesterol

Does anyone here have high cholesterol and has it effected you in any way yet? I just got tested positive for high cholesterol, my level was suppose to be under 4 but I'm sitting at 6.2 😥 I'm going to start eating a heck of a lot healthier and exercising more and I'm gonna keep at it but I just want to know what everyone else has experienced...
