liking someone

How could you tell if a guy likes you? I mean I have liked this guy ever since I was a freshman in HS and I'm a junior becoming a senior. We have been messing around ever since I was a freshman, he knows that I like him. But every time I go with him I make him smile and laugh. Is it possible that he could like me back?
