double standards

So me and my guy who i unofficially date haven't talked for real since Friday of last week. He has blown me off for stupid things like video games and movies and not texting me back for hours but if I don't even text him back in 10-15 minutes he has an issue or he gets mad at me because of that.( I understand all boys play video games but I will text him and he'll see that I texted him and ignore me for another hour and Ill be like hello and he'll still ignore that one and then when I'm like fuck it that's when he wants to answer he always coincidentally answers once he sees in fed up). So I tried telling him that I missed him and not letting the fact that he completely tries to use double standards on me all the time but that didn't work so he told me just talk to you tomorrow. I sent him a text apologizing which I shouldn't have. I have tried to leave him but he's also my best friend and I go hard for my best friends and losing one would be hard for me (he's pretty much the only one I have). He also gets mad if I don't tell him I'm at work ir if I am at a family gathering and I am not able to text him when he wants me to text him but he never tells me if he has work never tells me where he's going and  I hate that for him if he does it he gets mad at me for saying he should tell me but he will cuss me out for it. Am I wrong should I just leave and go through the whole "omg I loved him so much crying forever blah blah crap" or try to fix it?
