2 days late! need advice

I'm two days late for my period and I just have a couple questions for experienced Mommys. Me and my husband have been trying to conceive for year and a half I'm currently two days late which I know is no big deal my period is kind of  irregular because sometimes I'm two days late and I'll get my period the next day but now I'm noticing being kind of moody and mean and while we are having intercourse I'm having pain in my vagina and I've never had this before is this a sign or am I just getting my hopes up?
