Abnormal 13 Week Ultrasound. Extremely Worried 😩
Please say a prayer for my husband and me. An abnormality was found in Elijah's ultrasound on Friday and the Nuchal translucency measurement was higher than what I was told. The 1st tech said 3.6 then the 2nd said 3.1. Just found that out this morning. They however didn't have access to my genetic testing results that are over 99% accurate (from switching doctors, which I did fax over Monday morning) The Midwife called me after the US and said me telling her my test results were negative was very reassuring which I'm trying to focus on. But the difference in measurement has me worried so I'm just waiting on a call from the midwives to explain all this to me. 
UPDATE: So my midwife called and it's not Down Syndrome, thankfully. But they want to do further testing because he could be developing a heart problem, could have lymph issues... So it's just a waiting game now. Additional ultrasounds and testing have been scheduled. I'm very stressed out 😢 Anyone have an experience like this? Any advice?
2nd Update: Just talked to the midwife and she has more info for me. 70% of babies that measure above 3.0mm but below 4.3mm are more than likely fine. Still having precautionary testing done but most likely he's fine. Thank the lord 🙏🏼
