Gallbladder pains?

Has anyone else been having gallbladder pains? It worries me because I know when I mention it to my doctor they're going to want to take it out after the baby... but has anyone ever had this problem before and changed their diet and the pains became less common? I'm currently 23 weeks 3 days. I hear it's common when pregnant for your gallbladder to act up.

I was in horrible pain around 36/37 weeks pregnant with my first. Went to hospital and found out I had extreme gallstones and pancreatitis as a result. Ended up being hospitalized and put on liquid diet till I was 38 weeks and could be induced. Once baby was born I went home on special low fat diet till I completely healed from giving birth (4-6 weeks) then went back to have gallbladder removed. That being said having it removed was pretty straight forward, small laproscropic incisions, in and out in a couple hours with some pain pills as I was not breastfeeding​ so I would talk to your doctor about your pain and not worry to much about having it removed if need be.

Depends on the severity. I had horrid gallstones and had it removed about 9 months after my son was born. Stones are really hard to break down past a certain point, so it may benefit you just to have it removed. BUT, decrease fat and carb intake and see what happens in the meantime! Good luck!

I did and it went away after the baby came out and then I was fine. Change your diet and see if that helps.
