has anyone dilated this early before?!!

My doctor told me I'm already dilated to a 1 and I'm carrying the baby lower then what someone should I'm 25 weeks has anyone had this happen before and they go full term?! I got checked for having quite a bit of pressure

I was at 2 at 29 weeks with my second child. I was put on bed rest and terbutaline from that point on. I stopped it at 36 weeks and my water broke at exactly 37 weeks. He was by far my easiest and quickest labor.

Was there a reason for the doc to check for dilation? They usually don't check until 37-38 weeks unless there's a reason
