and that's SUPER NORMAL!! just keep up with your suggested cleaning routine. they take 6 months to a year to heal!

After I got my belly button pierced I found that salt water soaks helped so much. Helped with pain and cleaning. I just took warm tap water in a small glass or Dixie cup and added salt. Put it against my belly button and laid down for about 10 minutes. I had formed a keloid in the inside of my belly button and this took it away in just a few days!

The piercing could be a bit too short, but I can't really tell. It's normal for it to be sore and as long as you're cleaning correctly and when you should, it should be fine. But if it wasn't a sterile procedure it could definitely be infected. You can always go back to the piercer and have them check it out.
