When is it ok to try again.

Question

I had a miscarriage on March 4th I wanted to know when is a good time to start trying. I'm already 41 so time is not on my side, my doctor want me to wait a few months but I really don't want to.

My doctor said try again righ away and we did- I got pregnant the first cycle, before I even got my period!

I've done so much research on this and spoken to 3 different doctors about when it's safe to try again after a mc that is surgically managed. It is more of an old school mentality to wait 3 periods. Technically, 1 normal period is sufficient. There is evidence to back that those who get pregnant within 3 cycles have increased chance of conceiving and to term pregnancies. Best of luck!

My doctor told me two cycles to let the uterus heal. Just finished my first cycle. The wait is so hard!

After my first loss we tried again right away, we just went through loss #3 so we are waiting for further testing before trying again. Hoping to find answers soon, I want just one more baby.
