labor?

This may be a stupid question, but when do you know if you have TOO many Braxton hicks? Im afraid I'll mistake BH for actual contractions. I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and I'm dilated to a 3. I'm just paranoid now. I feel so stupid because this is baby #2 and feel like I should know these things, but that was two years ago and I was induced

I waited for all of my labor for contractions to be less like period cramps because when I asked about it during pregnancy everyone said "no contractions are totally different than cramps". Apparently my contractions were weird or my cramps ae just that bad because they never became anything more than gut wrenching period cramps, if my water hadn't broken I probably wouldn't have even gone in 😂

Honestly I mistook  my contractions for bh but only in the beginning when they weren't as bad. At night is when i knew something was different

Believe me, you'll know when it's time. If they become closer together, and feel a little more intense, then yes you're going into labor

I had tons of BH with both babies. More so with my last one but you'll know. I used to have 10 or so in an hour but knew they were just BH and not labor. Usually it was if i was exercising, really active or dehydrated. Mine never hurt they were just uncomfortable and very different from actual contractions.
