is anyone on the birth control patch?

I have a few questions.
If you switch it regularly, is it okay for him to ejaculate inside of you?
Did you get blood clots from it?
How long until your side affects went away? (I read up to 3 months)
How bad was your side affects?
How long have you used it?
Are you less protected if you've had a baby?
How much did it cost?
Did you get pregnant on it?
Did it get rid of your acne? (Of you had any)
Is it true it doesn't make you gain weight like the iud does?
Any comments about it that I've probably missed?

Every birth control effects people differently. Definitely still use condoms as the patch doesn't always stay all the way on and it is not THE most effective form of birth control. I helped clear up my acne. I didn't gain weight on it and haven't with the paraguard iud either. As I said everyone is different and hormones effect everybody in different ways. For me, my issue was that it made my panic attacks and depression worse and my one was worse too. No, I never got pregnant and never have. Idk how much it costs cuz I'm on my parents medical insurance, but it was free at the university I went to and got it from. It's pretty good birth control, but please continue to use protection! Especially if you're not in a position to be able to deal with the consequences of not. I have the iud which is the most effective form of bc and still use condone cuz even though the chances are slim, you can never be too careful. Good luck.

I've been on it for just over 6 months. The only really noticeable side effect I had was that it threw my period off for a bit and I had two periods a month for months 2 and 3. But now that's back to normal and starts the day I start the no-patch week. 😊 it is also slowly getting lighter!

As for getting pregnant on it. I've been having sex with my boyfriend at least weekly since getting on the patch and we are not careful at all and he finishes inside me every time lolol. And no pregnancy yet!

Also no problem keeping the patch on, it sticks on surprisingly well. The only issue I had was worrying about it while swimming last weekend, it did start coming off a bit then but it was still fine!

I got pregnant using the patch. It doesn't stick all that well, especially after showering with it on. It came off in my sleep sometimes too and would stick to my clothes. I didn't notice it helping my acne very much but like I said this was just my experience with it.
