dr instructions

Well my Dr told me that if I start feeling contractions, suspect labor or water breaks that I should not wait at home for any time frame but should rush to hospital... I'm full term and so far zero complications with number three...  the hospital is ten min away which I explained because he seemed oober serious for no real reason and he just repeated his stance that I need to go ASAP.... isn't that a lil weird? Am I just paranoid or is that just standard for number 3? I feel like there is now something in my chart I'm not aware of....
