VBAC SUCCESS!!!

Autumn

My first child was born through c section and I didn't have a very good experience or recovery and I was determined for a vbac for my second baby. My due date came and still had no signs of anything. I walked, squatted, drank tea and bounced every day that week. Next day I had consistent Braxton hicks. They had gotten stronger through late morning but I didn't think too much of it. That afternoon I went for my stress test at 41+1 and baby looked good. He checked me and of course I wasn't dilated. I was disappointed but scheduled my c section for the next day. I got home a few hours later tired and annoyed because now these "fake" contractions were getting stronger and I was trying to take a nap! 😡  They were getting closer together and I was getting more annoyed because now I'm dealing with pain and I knew for sure I wasn't dilating. I called my doctor and he sent me to the hospital. I made it to triage and in the middle of signing papers my water broke! They got me admitted and checked and I was 5 to 6cm dilated. They got me up to the birth room and got my epidural and I finally got my nap!🙌🏾 At 12:30am it was time to push and at 12:41 my little pooh bear was born. I enjoyed every minute and so happy I got my VBAC and I would do it all over again for my Norah Lynn 😍
