explain this to me.

So I'm 17 I've been dating my boyfriend for a long time, and my dad lets us stay home alone. But last night he was helping me clean my room when everyone was home and I closed my door cause my room is beside my brothers and sisters. We almost finished my room but then we fell asleep on my couch with my head on his lap and him sitting (he fell asleep) and my dad barges in at whatever time and says time for bed. Later he texted me "either you guys go downstairs or he goes home. I don't ever want see your door closed with him in there." What the hell?
