My boyfriend was 12 lbs at birth and I was 9 lbs... Do you think our daughter will be big? 😩 I'm already all baby in my belly

My bf was 8 pnds and I was 7 pnds my daughter came out 6.11pnds and my son was 7.15pnds

So it was a predictor for us, but I have no idea how common that is.

I actually just watched a docu-series on pregnancy the other day and according to it, research shows there's no correlation. Our bodies are made to grow babies to be a size compatible with our build. It was less than 1% or so of women have a baby that is truly too large. I found it all super interesting- the documentary talked about how the men give our baby a gene that triggers growth and women have a gene that suppresses this growth when it becomes too much for our bodies!

"They say" it does go by the parents, but I'm sure it's not a guarantee.

You never know , I wasn't a big baby but my daughter was just 2 oz away from being 9lbs and long as heck .
