frustrated with partner and wedding planning... aka, why am I so alone in this?

I feel a bit at a loss lately. I'm working very hard to plan my wedding, we decided to have a short engagement and get married this summer rather than waiting (I would have preferred waiting until next summer, or even having a fall wedding but fiancé insisted sooner rather than later)  The thing is, I don't get any help from him with planning. I try to explain it to him in many different ways, and he always says he will help but then nothing.  I even finally told him if at the very least he could help financially with the decorations and pick up a few things (before you ask, yes he can afford it and much more than I can for that matter. Also my dad will be paying for most things but we committed to helping as much as we can and one of the things we decided to take on was decoration) long story short, it was weeks ago that I asked him and he hasn't picked up any of the items. I keep telling him he needs to get on ordering suits, but he is yet to do that either. I'm getting very frusterated, if I stopped planning I don't even think he would notice and then come our wedding date nothing would be done. He is the one who insisted on such a short timeframe to begin with! I love him so, so much. I'm just feeling like nothing I do gets through to him.
