He Won't Hold My Hand

So me and my boyfriend have been dating for 4 months now. He refuses to hold my hand in public and in private. It bothers me because I really need that physical connection. I have really strong feeling for this guy but i don't know if he feels the same way if he won't even hold my hand. Am I over reacting? Like he's super sweet to me and kisses me (sexually and romantically and reassuringly) and we talk and are constantly together. But he never holds my hand.
