Did you / will you get the Tdap while pregnant?

I've been reading about it and I believe I will, in my third trimester, as well as my husband. My mom just got one last month because she keeps my infant nephews everyday. My due date is at the end of September so my daughter won't be able to get her first dose of DTaP until winter, when people are all sickly and we're frequently around a ton of people (holidays). My husband is also in college so he's exposed to plenty of germs everyday at school. So I'm just super worried we or one of the other adults around her will give it to her!

Got mine right before I found I got pregnant so according to doc I'm good SO may have to get one he works around elderly ppl but I think they only require flu shots for his job. My daughter recently got vaccines but I can't remember if Tdap was included but she should've gotten it already too if I'm not mistaken.

My doctor asked if I wanted a flu shot and had no problem with me opting out of it.  The TDAP though wasn't even questioned. With my first I had just had a TDAP shot the year before (I worked in child care) but she explained how I needed it again because it was the babies only protection.

I will be getting a dtap booster around 30 weeks! Husband got his about a month ago so we're set. I don't want to take ANY chances with my little one.

I also took the flu shot which I haven't done since working in the hospital. Tdap isn't as controversial as the flu vaccine because the evidence is clearly there of the protection of offers. Your husband should get one also. Pertussis is really hard on babies and it's definitely worth it IMO.

I unfortunately had a severe allergic reaction to the TDAP when I was younger so my Dr wants to avoid me having it again while I'm pregnant, just incase I react the same way. 
So to combat this, we are doing what my Dr calls "herd vaccinating", where everyone who will be around the baby before he can get his own booster needs to have had the TDAP recently. Luckily he is due in June, so he will have had his boosters by the time cold and flu season roll around. 
Whooping cough is SO dangerous for babies. I would get the vaccine if I could!!
