How long until more constant kicks?

So I finally felt our little baby moving more today, and I had the biggest smile on my face. How long now until it's more constant kicks? I want to feel my child move more, I'm so excited!

I felt First kicks at 17 weeks and now that I'm 20 weeks I feel him like crazy! Kicking hard and rolling around.

I've heard up until 28 weeks, most of the movements are irregular and involuntary. That's why at 28 weeks they suggest you do kick counts.

28 weeks for me. That's also when doctors suggest kick counting because it becomes regular by then.

It's exciting isn't it? How far along are you? I felt the first 'real' kick at exactly 18 weeks and probably consistently from 19 weeks, getting more regular the further along I am. This is my first, so have nothing to compare it to. X
