Do you plan on baby wearing? What will you use?

Question

As a FTM I have no experience with baby wearing and would love to know what other mommies are planning on using. I am due June 25 so it will be 95+° outside. I love the idea of a wrap carrier like the Moby or Boba but I'm not sure it would last baby as long as a structured carrier like the Ergo or LILLEBaby. I don't want to purchase one and then have to buy another later down the road. Any suggestions or experiences? Thanks!

I love baby wearing! I've worn my daughter since birth up until now and she's 14 months old and I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant with baby brother. For tiny ones I love our linen ring sling. We live in Texas so it's not too hot for the baby or myself and for when they're older I use my Ergo or I have a cheaper one for on the go quick use called the Infantino Zip!

I used a moby wrap when my LO was itty bitty and just recently started using LÍLLÉbaby carriers since he's bigger now. I have an Airflow and an embossed. They are pricey but worth it bc can be worn 6 different ways and used from 7-45 lbs! Plus they have a great clearance sale going on now and check out the lillebaby love page on Facebook! I'll admit I'm a full blown lille lover lol!❤️❤️❤️

We used our Boba from the time baby was born. He was born in September so there were some warm days and I can see the Boba being a little uncomfortable with intense heat. We also have an Evenflo carrier that's much more lightweight, but we didn't get that until he was older so I don't know how well it works with newborns.

I love babywearing!  I use my baby Bjorn until baby is about three months. Then switch to my ergobabay performance mesh carrier with the infant mesh insert. Then around 4/5 months I take the insert out. I love wearing baby on my back too around 8 months. Also, nursing in the bjorn and ergo is a piece of cake!

I got a boba wrap for when baby is tiny.  For the heat of summer (and for hubby) we got the Ergo baby active.  It is made with a mesh backing to help keep baby cool.
