Depo Shot?

What side affects does the depo Shot have? I had my daughter on Feb 10th and I got the Depo shot on March 9th. So I've been on period for about 15 days is that normal or should I visit my doctor?

Yeah a lot of extra bleeding. They usually say three month probation to let your body balance out.

But sometimes after having your baby the first period can be wacky

I bled for about 2-3 months, no weight gain or anything else. Then I didn't have a period for 8 months until I just stopped getting the shots. I didn't mind depo, I hated the pill. But I just got off birth control for good. It's really not good for you.

hated depo. it's known as one of the worst options. i've been on it for almost a year now and never stopped bleeding or spotting. it helps with my severe cramps but cause me to become anemic from the amounts of blood i lost. they put me on the pill while i was on depo to see if the estrogen would level out and stop bleeding but that only worked while i was on the pill pack, which gave me yeast. anyways, i'm finally done with depo and just got the mirena iud in. but good luck. it's different for everyone
