Menstrual cups???

What the heck are menstrual cups and how do they work??? Do they ever overflow, and how can you change it in a public bathroom? Also, what age did you start using menstrual cups and how long had you had your period for?

Theyre silicone cups that go in your vagina to collect the period. I personally have never had mine overflow but if it did it would most likely be fine with some minimal leaking. I never have to empty it in public because you can keep it in for around 12 hours (ive gone like 16 hours 😅) if you did have to and it were a bathroom with stalls then just wipe it out with toilet paper and reinsert it if the bathroom has a sink (like a one person bathroom) rinse it out and reinsert it. I got mine when i was 20 which was when i heard about them- i wish i got one sooner it wouldve been amazing. Ive had my period since i was 12 and im almost 22 now. My cup made my period go from 6 heavy days to 2 light days

i started using mine at 16 while i was a virgin and it was great, they don't overflow but i would recommend taking your cup out in the shower while squatting or over a toilet, because sometimes there's stringy mucus period blood that will get on you.

Menstrual cups are cups you put in your vagina. I really doubt they overflow. As for public restrooms, you can have one in for 12 hours so you probably won't ever need to take it out then. I think they're safe for all ages, but younger girls may be less comfortable with it, but if they are fine with it then cool.
