iui- missing the egg??

Question

Today my follicle measured 21mm! I have symptoms of being fertile. They scheduled me to give trigger shot tonight and do iui Monday! Anyone have experience with iui? I'm nervous that I'll ovulate before then! Anyone missed ovulation?

I had one 25 and two 22 on Monday, triggered that night and iui Wednesday. I am also afraid we might've done it a little late but I BD Sunday and Monday just to be on the safe side! Praying it works 🙏🏻

I had a 25mm which was by far my biggest ever (used menpure that cycle) did a trigger that night and IUI a day later. It was our third IUI and we got our BFP!  Almost 23 weeks now 😍
I used a heating pad on low or med in the evenings to keep everything nice and warm...Not sure if it did anything, but worth a shot. I know a few others on here who have said the same. Good luck!

Honestly i had to do that on my first iui i had to take my shot that sat and monday around 3 i had the iui i fill like my egg dropped that sunday morning bc i was cramping so bad and the next day it wasnt nothing anf i had it done

All the ones that were timed right were scheduled between 36 and 38 for me but I think up to 40 is fine. I know it's stressful just try not to worry. I had 4 unfortunately no luck yet but we are still trying. Good luck on Monday

My first iui I know I missed ovulation I had one almost 26mm follicle and she told me the same thing trigger that night and come back that monday for iui. But I'm positive I ended up ovulating that day. I wish I knew more at the time and I would of cancelled it. But I did find out after that  around 26mm and up is when you are getting ready to O. So you actually should be timed pretty good for monday.
