Ectopic pregnancy

Long story short i went to the ER for severe abdominal pain thursday & ended up having emergency surgery because the fetus was half way in my uterus & half way in my tube. I ended up having my right ovary & tube removed & having to be cut open to get the rest out of my uterus. Has anybody else had experience with this? Will my body be affected by having only one working ovary? Any precautions i should take? I plan on asking my doctor all of this when i go to my appt in a week to have my staples removed. Just looking for any advice or stories relating to this? TIA.
