New Tattoo & Telling Mom

So i'm 18, 19 this month, i got my first tattoo at 17 with my dad and my mom knew about it but didn't necessarily care for it. My dad also got 2 tattoos, and he just recently got a half sleeve that cost $600. My mom was super pissed that he chose to spend his money on a tattoo instead of something like bills, car payment, etc. So she's been trash talking him and the tattoo 24/7. She doesn't know that I went with him and got 2 tattoos, one is a few roses on my hip going up my side, the other is the word vegan on the edge of my wrist. I'm also at school btw so i only see her some weekends. I was going to tell her about the vegan one but not the bigger one because i know she would hate it, and that one was $250. I really don't want to hear her go on complaining to me about mine. The vegan one is small and i would just tell her it was $20 (the cost was $100 per hour and that one took 3 minutes so it was basically free) but idk if i should tell her now (i just got back to school after the weekend and missed some chances to tell her) or wait till she is less pissy about my dad's tat and maybe in a better mood in general?
