I'm starting to freak out someone help

Okay so I've been on my period for 11 days. I just switched birth controls about a month ago (not sexually active) and I have a history of many things like this in the family for bad reasons like uterine fibroids and stuff like that. I did research and it all said it was because I switched borth controls and since it's the first time bleeding this long so I shouldn't worry. I just want to make sure I'm fine before I freak out and call a doctor.
